Personal Biography
Dr. A. B. M. Mainul Bari is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He did his Bachelor’s and Master’s from the Dept. of IPE, BUET, as well. He was awarded the prestigious UGC Prime Minister's Gold Medal in 2015 for obtaining the highest CGPA in the entire Mechanical Engineering Faculty during his B.Sc. Engineering program. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), USA, in 2020. He was a recipient of the prestigious STEM Fellowship from the US Government during the entire duration of his Ph.D. in the USA.
His current research interests include linear and non-linear optimization, decision analytics, data analytics, business analytics, risk management, reliability analysis, sustainability analysis, and logistics management. He has published many research articles in various reputed journal groups like Elsevier, Emerald, Plos, and so on. He received several research grants in recognition of his ongoing research activities, including Basic Research Grant and CASR Research Grant from BUET. He participated in many international conferences in USA, Turkey, and Europe so far.
