The Department of Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) is buzzing with energy as IPE Fiesta 2026   unfolds with a diverse lineup of academic, corporate, creative and cultural events throughout January. Organized by the Association of Industrial and Production Engineers (AIPE), BUET to foster innovation, professional growth and student engagement, the fiesta brings together participants from multiple universities alongside industry partners. Kicking off the celebrations, 14th January marks the official opening of the long-awaited IPE Fiesta 2026. The head of the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at BUET, Prof. Dr. Prianka Binte Zaman officially inaugurated IPE Fiesta 2026. The opening day sets an energetic tone with a Rally and a Chess Competition, encouraging participation, enthusiasm, and strategic thinking right from the start. These events signal the beginning of a dynamic schedule designed to inspire teamwork, innovation, and healthy competition over the coming days.

The excitement continues with a Treasure Hunt on 17 January, promising adventure and collaboration. Career-focused activities take center stage during the ‘Career Connect’ on 18 and 19 January, offering students valuable exposure and guidance for their professional journeys. Various multinational and local conglomerates will join this career connect. Technical and creative skills will be showcased through events such as the CAD Competition (20 January) and Poster Presentation (21 January).

As the fiesta progresses, students will engage in analytical and problem-solving challenges during the Case Competition on 24 January, followed by the Excel Competition on 25 January. The same day will feature high-energy celebrations with the Flash Mob & Color Fest, while the Photography Display will run from 25 to 26 January, capturing memorable moments of the fiesta.

The celebrations will culminate in a grand Cultural Night on 26 January, bringing together performances, creativity, and festivity to conclude IPE Fiesta 2026 on a high note.

As IPE Fiesta 2026 unfolds from today onward, the campus is set to come alive with ideas, enthusiasm, and unforgettable experiences. Students are encouraged to participate actively and make the most of this vibrant celebration.
