I have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a research focus on data-driven optimization and big data analytics. I worked as a researcher for the U.S. Department of Energy. Currently, I am working as a tenure-track assistant professor at a Carnegie R1 university in the United States. My research has been funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. My research was published in reputed journals including the European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, Energy, and the International Journal of Critical Infrastructure Protection.
