R. M. Shahbab is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He did his Bachelor’s and Master’s from the Department. of IPE, BUET, as well. He was awarded the prestigious Deans Award and University Merit Scholarship, BUET for obtaining the highest GPA in consecutive terms during his B.Sc. Engineering program. 

His current research interests include Engineering Design Optimization, Uncertainty and Risk Management, Robust Optimization, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
