The Department of Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) is one of the dynamic departments of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). The strength of this department lies in the highly skilled faculty members who are serving the country by their academic contribution as well as advisory, consultancy, research and testing service in the industrial sector. Right now, there are seven professors, two associate professors and three assistant professors in this department. Most of these faculty members have Ph.D. degree in various fields related to manufacturing, optimization, operations management and supply chain management. The Department of Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) is offering advisory, consultancy, research and testing services to various government and corporate bodies.
