CareerConnect: Empowering IPE Graduates by Navigating Opportunities and Beyond
The Association of Industrial & Production Engineers recently hosted 'CareerConnect: Expanding Horizons,' an engaging online webinar tailored for students and alumni of BUET's Department of Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE). This comprehensive event, spanning from September 1st to September 21st, 2023, featured six distinct sessions, each focusing on diverse career opportunities available to IPE graduates.
Distinguished speakers, totaling 28 experts from various fields, actively participated in these sessions, sharing invaluable insights and personal experiences. Their collective wisdom and guidance aimed to equip the audience with the knowledge needed to navigate both public and private job markets successfully.
Moreover, 'CareerConnect' delved into the promising avenues for pursuing higher education, both domestically and internationally, thus providing a holistic view of the prospects available to IPE graduates.
At the helm of this enlightening event was Dr. Ferdous Sarwar, the esteemed head of the IPE department at BUET and the President of the Association of Industrial & Production Engineers (AIPE). Under his leadership, 'CareerConnect' unfolded as an enriching experience, empowering students and alumni to broaden their horizons and make informed career choices.
